Hessle Audio s a record label run by Ben Thomson (Ben UFO), David Kennedy (Ramadanman/Pearson Sound) and Kevin McAuley (Pangaea). This year marks their 10th in existence. To mark the milestone, the three founding DJs will tour together for the first time since 2013, playing a series of the extended sets across Europe, North America and Asia.

The three co-founders all started their carriers in their teens, strongly inspired by labels such as DMZ, Sub Dub and FWD, and impressed by the possibilities the dubstep scene had when it was becoming popular in London and Leeds. Later as the dubstep scene became more segmented, the three artists started Hessle Audio to develop their own bass music.

The label was one of the first to hook up talented artists like James Blake and Joe, who’s track was one of Ricardo Villalobos’ favorite. The famous “116&Rising” must be one of the best compilation albums from Hessle Audio, proving the label’s quality has never dipped in nine years, with contributions from Untold, Addison Groove, Peverelist, Blawan, Elgato and so on.
